The primary purpose of this position is to administer, support, analyze and manage the pace and impact of information technology change on people and processes. As a Field Services Analyst, you deliver IT services on a local level to ensure optimal workstation performance and act as next level escalation point. You will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required. Last but not least, you are thorough in documenting the situational facts, activities, communication and agreements during troubleshooting activities.
Approximately 5 times a year you will have call out services for the duration of 1-week 24/7. This responsibility might have a small impact on your private life and is something you should consider.
The responsibilities of the team are for the European headquarters in Rotterdam and for our production sites (Botlek, Maasvlakte and Moerdijk).

We are looking for a resourceful, customer focused team player who can easily fit into our internationally oriented organization. (English proficiency is required). Aside from being part of a team some of the tasks and responsibilities require that you can manage independently, while being pro-active and self-motivated. You possess interpersonal skills and your attitude is focused on helping end-users when needed.
This is what you bring
- bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business and a minimum of (one) year relevant experience or;
- non-degreed professional with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least (three) years relevant experience
- Knowledge of Windows Operation Systems for workstations
- Knowledge of Windows environment for servers and workstations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and the interactions of the different components
- Technical organization and troubleshooting skills, issue resolution and risk mitigation capabilities
- Ability and commitment to implementing standards
- ITIL knowledge and experience
- VCA certification or willingness to achieve
- Fluency in English and Dutch, verbally and in writing
- Drivers license and means of transportation
